Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to the feet and hands utilizing thumb, finger and hand techniques. Applying pressure to the reflex areas can promote health in the corresponding organs through energetic pathways. Because the feet and hands help set the tension level for the rest of the body, they are an easy way to interrupt stress signals and reset the body’s equilibrium. Additional benefits include: improved blood flow; reduces stress and promotes relaxation; reduces pain. The reflexologist can provide you with a relaxing experience and educate you on how to do it yourself.

Nicole Raitano, LMT, RYT500

Nicole was introduced to, and fell in love with yoga in 1994.  She then became a personal trainer, and group fitness instructor yet it wasn’t until 2012; she completed the 760-hour Yoga Teacher/Therapist Training at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona.  This included studies in Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra. It was Thai massage that drove her to enroll in the professional massage therapy program and she became licensed in Arizona, South and North Carolina.  Nicole is empathic and intuitive and uses connection with beings along with her training in myofascial energetic massage, shiatsu, and Thai to encourage bodies to let go of tension and holding patterns, which create optimum relaxation and rejuvenation.  She considers herself deeply spiritual and a lifelong learner.
